It has always sputtered so I'll rule out the overfilled tanks.  I am going 
to look through my records and see if I can find the Bowen maintenance 
specs.  Seems to me that they talked about how to adjust the pilot to get 
right air to gas mixture BUT I don't recall anything about how to play with 
the delivery tube.

I don't want to disconnect an old system like that or I might be in cold 
water without the needed replacement parts.
