One of these days I'm going to pull up the tile in my Bambi, reinforce the
floor in a couple of places, and then put in cork flooring. It's extremely
durable, beautiful, light weight, environmentally okay (cork is quickly
renewable), easy to install, flexible, and a great insulator. It's a little
more expensive than comparable wood products but given that the Bambi is so
small the cost is pretty minimal. Check out
