The solar panels that I plan to use are flexible.  I was planning on 
putting 4 side by side and riveting them to the skin.

I had thought about a "pop-up" cover over the rectangular hole where the 
A/C sits.  Sort of like a VW pop top roof.  That would cut my solar panels 
to two or a measely 64 watts of generating capability.

A poptop would also allow valuable storage shelves around its 
perimeter.  The world's biggest spice rack :)
