 If the AC heater draws 2 amps, that's about 240 watts. Divided by 12
(volts), that equals 20 amps at 12VDC.

As I said, the 12VDC operation of a fridge in a trailer is pretty
superfluous; it's doubtful if you could supply that much current through
the typical trailer wiring connector w/o burning it up. If you must
operate the fridge while travelling, use gas. FWIW:, there's a lot of
discussion about doing so; I run mine if it's hot outside and I'm going
quite a ways. If it's only a couple of hours and/or is cold, I don't run
it at all.

I have no idea what the resistance reading on the heating element should
be, but that info might be on http://www.rvmobile.com
