Re: [A/S] New Owner

Doug,
As Harvey suggested, do some experimentation with the settings on your
controller and you'll soon figure it out.

Mirrors are up to you, I use a pair of telescoping mirrors from Camping
World that require only loosening a set screw to slide in and out.
Vibration is minimal, unlike the add-on mirrors that I used with our
other Dodge.

Some roads causing that porpoising ("yo-yo") effect and I don't know
that there's much you can do about it. We couldn't WAIT to get off I-10
in Louisiana because of exactly that.

I use the cruise control all the time and feel that it makes me a better
driver because of not having to think about the speed. My favorite speed
is about 60-62 on the Interstate so other traffic is always going "away
from" me. I'll force a downshift to 3rd if the speed is falling off very
much.

Regarding towing in OD or Direct, follow the instructions in your
owners' manual. Some transmissions will be ruined very quickly by towing
in OD, others are fine with that. Yours should be OK because it's not
the same transmission as used in the 1/2-ton GM products.
