Thank you so much for the feedback. I've seen some of your posts on 
the airstream central site. 

I will have the shocks and air-bag system checked and if necessary 
replaced by a professional before I start my long treck home with it. 

I have too little free time, facilities and expertise to attempt 
major mechanical work myself. I've seen some pricing on air bag 
repairs.  Can you provide me a ball park cost on shock replacement? 
Is this the kind of work an RV repair shop should do, or am I better 
looking for a Chevy truck dealer?
