The dry weight for the 1979 23' Safari is 3,905 lbs with a hitch weight
of 500 lbs. Dry weight does not include most common options like A/C and
awnings. Added weight for LPG, water and "stuff" adds up fast. You will
only be able to determine your towing weight when you are loaded and
ready to go camping. A good ball park would be around 5,000-5,500 lbs
loaded. You will need some manner of a load equalizing hitch.
