Many of the club members will disarree with me But there is no way that I 
would eaver consider towing a trailer that size with a single axel. You only 
have one contact point with the road wherw as with a tandom axel you save 2 
contact points a couple of feet apart which helps to stablise the trailer. If 
you have a flat with a single exal you will have an immidare prolvem and a 
blow out is iaven worse. I had a flat with my tandom axel and did not know it 
until I arrived at the campground and checked my tires. Just an openion
