Hi Eric:

I pull a '67 Safari 22 with a '92 Ford F-150 4WD 7-ft bed pickup with a 
5.8L V-8 3:55 gears w/posi in the rear and E4OD A/T and factory tow 
package.  So far I have pulled my trailer in much of CA, AZ, NM.  I have 
pulled over some reasonably steep grades.  I have negotiated short and 
sometimes uphill on-ramps to Inter-States and Freeways. I have made a few 
"panic" stops.  My trailer published weight is 3420 lbs.  I use an 
EAZ-Lift equalizer and sometimes a friction sway controller.

This truck is adequate for the situation that I have.  It has performed 
very well, but not with any REAL extra margin.  IOW, I would not consider 
pulling anything bigger Airstream with this truck.
