[A/S] Streamline and aluminum Avion Trailers

Tom,

I like the old Streamline and pre-fiberglass Avion trailers also.  I looked
at a very nice aluminum Avion a few years ago before I bought my first A/S.
It was a very nice, well-maintained trailer but I didn't know how I would
ever find parts for one and that was before internet communication exploded
into virtually every household.

How do you repair one if you have the bad fortune of having an accident that
damages frame members or aluminum skin panels?  Are worn out or wrecked
units that can be cannibalized the only parts source for those
trailers/motorhomes?

Were Streamlines and Avions built to designs similar to A/Ss?  Someone once
told me that Avions were a lot stronger than A/Ss but also a lot heavier.
Any truth to that?

I have reviewed your website on several occasions since learning of and
joining this list.  You have done a very nice job with it.
