[A/S] Diseased

Well, the disease is progressing. I bought a 1966 Streamline
Motorhome today, so now I have two trailers as well as the motorhome.
SOB's to be true, but all aluminum.
I had earlier come across a Streamline Motorhome on a lake lot
outside of Livingston, Texas (not far from the Escapees park), but it
had been sitting for 15 - 20 years, and was badly trashed out. In the
process of checking further into these units, I found a good price on
another one, and agreed to buy it. These are interesting
units.......there were apparently only about a dozen or so ever made,
and I understand only four of the ones with a back porch like the one I
just bought. The Streamline Company ended up selling their motorhome
business to L.K. Newell in 1967, and the Newell Coach Corporation is
still building coaches today. Interestingly, their web site shows a
1966 Streamline Travel Home like my newly acquired one.
Now, to make peace with my wife..............
