Re: [A/S] water heater and cable

I have a '99 30' which matches the description of your trailer, and I had a
problem with my internal wiring. I tried to check continuity, the end
connectors etc. I found that I lost the sheilding on one wire and I was
getting interference such as ghosts. I made repairs to the screw on end
connector and it is better.

<<The output is in fact in the same compartment with the shore power cord. I
was interested in whether or not anyone has had replace the cable and if so
whether it can be pulled from one end to the other.>>
The wire goes into the walls and is impossible to pull a new wire with the
existing one. I ran a new wire (for my Dish) from the shore power
compartment, through the floor, behind the box that runs along the wall,
through the hot water space along the outer wall to the credenza and attached
it to my Dish box.

I hope this helps you. When I have shore power, I use the dish only. If I
want to use the roof antenna, I switch wires on the TV/VCR. Bill
