[A/S] water heater and cable

Thanks for the responses.  In use I was able to find both ends of the 
cable.  I learned by one response that the antenna power booster would 
negate the cable hook up.  I think that I tried the hook up with the power 
booster both off and on. Before doing anything I will try again next time I 
have access to a cable hook up.  Other than hooking up to a cable source is 
there any way to check the integrity of the wiring between the input and 
output. The output is in fact in the same compartment with the shore power 
cord.  I was interested in whether or not anyone has had replace the cable 
and if so whether it can be pulled from one end to the other.

	As to the water heater it has been suggested that the problem may be the 
thermocoupler.  I will have to look at the Atwood instruction sheet to see 
if I can figure out what that involves.  Thanks for the replies
