[A/S] Speaker covers

Received my WBCCI numbers in the mail this week. Will have to review the
old posts re application. I recently posed questions about the TB tie
downs and Speaker Covers... Received a note from Hunter and others
regarding the TV and have picked up a couple set of the TV Grips and will
work on getting that taken care of....

Still have not heard from anybody regarding the brown speaker covers. Am
trying to figure out whether they are supposed to be removable for access
to the speakers, I want to swap out the old speakers, or whether they are
permanently secured. The installer thought the might have been built as
part of the wall unit and therefore not susceptible to opening except by
removal of the all panel. Don't want to do that....

Am awaiting word on when to expect a tow vehicle... I had been told it
would take 10 weeks, mid December, before I would be able to get a Dodge
Turbo Diesel. I just heard that it will be here early in the week. That
might give me a chance to test my driving skills. Have no trailer
experience other than with U-Hauls and a long time ago had a school bus
drivers license.... I have been trying to get some odds and ends done so
that I can take it out....

Would also be interested in any tales or tribulations or replacing the
original carpet with either parquet or other wooden floor from the galley
forward. Seems that the thinner stock would be more appropriate and I
assume from what I have been able to gather from the list and Owners manual
that you could glue a wooden floor to the stock underlayment... Suggestions
would be appreciated.

Thanks Al Owens
