Re: [A/S] Re: Rollover in SUVs, pickups and Suburbans
There seams th be a mind set that the bigger the vehicle the safer one is
that being the case Peterbuilt builds some nice vechicles. Since 1958 I have
had my own criteria for what I do my eavery day driving in . The car must get
at least 30mpg it must be sure footed easy to park and reasonably safe . In
the event of certan kinds ol accidents no vehwill protect you.
I notice here in my aera that an undue portion of the SUV owners show a
shocking lack of curticy for those of us who are driving the smaller cars.
Yes to pull my AS i have to have a larger vehicle I drive them when nessary
but they are sure no fun to drive as well as using fule like it is going out
of style.
If fule prices continue to rise as I think they will I think many will start
to agan abandon their road monsters.
Those of us who aron the caravan to Belize will find that when we get there
that high test gas is now $6.20 per gal and diesel is$4.20 per gal. we have
been fortunate that we have always enjoyed some of the lowest fule prices in
the world. I doubt if that will continue.
