Hunter, this is exactly the reason someone gave me for the declining 
number of AS dealers - that AS has a policy requiring their dealers
to 
keep some amount of stock on their lot, which is quite a big capital 
investment.  I don't know if I was correctly informed, but it surely 
would explain the declines.  Also, dealers have told me that the 
markup on AS is pretty small, but that may just be their way of 
avoiding negotiations.
