They certainly do, and with reckless abandon regarding the electrical
contents thereof.  When they get to the hot wire they simply die and
commence to rot.  Not a real pleasant aroma.  Certainly not as pleasant
as a broiling steak.  Actually it's the insulation that they find tasty,
but once the copper is bare the rest is malodorous history.
