People should realize that there are places in the USA that still don't have 
access to the same phone equipment/lines we have in big cities/highly 
populated areas.  A friend in rural Idaho can't be on the net because she is 
on a two-party line and the system sounds straight out of the 30's or 40's.

It seems a shame to 'knock' a place just because of net access. Maybe it 
would be better to check on such things and give it a pass if net access is 
that important to you.
