Norma,
 Dunno about you, but I'm not worried about the water from the
campground hydrant. It may taste bad, but the chances of its being
unsafe are pretty low. 

However, when it's stored in your onboard tank, it's exposed to the air
through the tank vent and CAN eventually get some contamination and
'growths'.

Sanitizing your tank requires a specific procedure, it's not quite as
simple as just pouring in a bit of Clorox. I think that one of Phred's
