Hmmmmm I didn't think I was giving them bad press... I thought I was 
answering Bill's question about the best and worst experiences.

I love Top of Georgia too... that's why I kept going back too.  Just because 
it's a lovely park does that mean I wasn't treated badly?  The park hosts 
thought I was... others who  were there thought I was.  As you weren't there 
I don't see how you can have an opinion?  You can have an opinion about their 
reasons for not having a phone line but not about my treatment.

The worst thing was they sicced the hosts on me... not when I was 
downloading, when I was snuggled in my trailer. The poor guy had to come 
discipline me long after the crime. I used the line in the library...  
downloaded my mail in a flash session..... and went right offline... 1 minute 
maybe.  Then I was standing there reading it when some woman started snarling 
at me... then she snarled at someone else that I had been on the phone for 20 
minutes!  I hadn't been in the building more than 5 which he pointed out to 
her....in my defense.  No one asked me, no one explained the rules to me... 
no one did anything civil except for the poor host who was mortified that he 
was sent to my trailer to ban me from the phones. 

(That's one thing I like so much about egroups.... as list owner I was 
getting all the bounce messages on the other list and really *had* to get 
online twice a day because of it..... )

computers, I think that's great but if they don't then so be it.  It is not a

LOL, no I guess it isn't..... but as every other park that I've stayed in 
over the last year does offer a phone line to do email, it would seem that 
TOG, because of the nature of the park itself, would understand the necessity 
for it, especially for fulltimers and even more especially in a place that 
has no cell phone service.  Many fulltimers have to rely on cellphones or 
email to keep in touch with their families and for their families to contact 
them in case of emergency. I had to leave TOG because of their silly rule.  
It's odd to me that people are allowed to make outgoing calls from the 
payphone... why can't they simply put a data port on the payphone so people 
can get their email?
I don't even think there is a charge to put a data port on the payphone so it 
would be no skin off their noses..... no $$$$ out of their wallets. 
(I could be wrong about that obviously....)

My personal take on it is.... the never did it before so they are not going 
to do it now.  I heard they voted down putting in an email line at the next 
meeting.
