[A/S] Top of Georgia
Dave,
Thanks for posting the TOG director's reply to the bad press they have
received on the net. I think he has explained their position quite nicely.
Things are not always black and white. There is usually a lot of gray.
I for one think that Top of Georgia has gotten a bad rap. Our club holds at
least one ralliy there every year and we have always enjoyed it. So much
that the club votes to return year after year. And it is over 300 miles from
where most of us live. But we enjoy the area and the park so we continue to
return.
I enjoy using the net and I like to be in touch when we are away from home.
However, I do not think that is any park's responsibility to make sure I am
connected to the net. If a park wants and can accomodate folks with
computers, I think that's great but if they don't then so be it. It is not a
God given right.
I strongly agree that there is always two sides to every story. Human nature
being what it is most folks don't like it when someone tells them something
they don't want to hear. And usually the person doing the most talking is
wrong.
We have always enjoyed our stays at TOG and have met some very nice people
there. We have never been treated poorly. Matter of fact we just returned
from our club rally and we had a great time. Thanks to all the folks at TOG
for a great time.
