[A/S] Aluminum wire
Most circuits in Airstreams will never carry enough of a load to make aluminum
wire impractical. The problem comes from electrolysis created by dissimilar
metals being bound together in wire nuts or on receptacles or other binding
posts. This can be prevented by the application of a product called Ox-Gard,
available at Home Depot electrical department and probably any other hardware
stores or building supply stores. There may be other products for the same
purpose. At any rate, it is easy to apply and does a very efficient job. A cheap
acid brush makes a good applicator. Good luck.
