     So do I...As you know, I "missed" a motor home too closely at CW 
in Nashville last May.  But cheer up...there's life after accidents, 
and other insurance companies besides Foremost.  

     Jane and I just got back from the Old Time Fiddler's Rally in 
Athens, AL.  We started out at ToG with our new tow vehicle (1999 
Suburban 2500 LS, 454 engine, 4.1:1 rear end].  It has a Tekonsha 
Voyager XP brake control in it.  Like an idiot, I left it as it was 
set, and it worked just fine until the brakes got warm, and then it 
started grabbing.  Eventually, it would screech when braking, and I 
finally noticed tire smoke on braking, since the wheels were locking 
up.  DA thing to do.  A short stop fixed the control ok, and I went 
through the whole procedure later.  I now have at least one tire to 
relace; wore a flat clean through the tread.  So, I may not have a 
monopoly on dumb trailer things, but I must rank pretty high on the 
list.  And, a PhD in Physics did not help a bit. ;-)
