Hi Gang,

So much for my 1 year in the trailer anniversary celebration...... <sigh>

We arrived in Santa Fe around lunchtime.... after staying in Flagstaff for 2 
days then Gallup for one night.  Gallup is the birthplace of all the 
souvenirs you buy in the southwest....  there are miles of shops that sell 
"wholesale".... 

While in Flagstaff we did wander over to Sedona for a day.  I had been there 
25 years ago when it was a small, sparsly inhabited village..... no more.  
Now it's full of shops and residents.... You can also take many tours 
including "New Age" ones to see/feel (?) The "Vortex". 

Anyway, back to today.  I went straight to the RV Park I had stayed in last 
spring.  I pulled in but Don got caught with traffic and couldn't make the 
turn left.   The place was packed... I mean lines of motorhomes.  I saw an 
Airsream in line..... it was Conrad and Tricia!!!  YEA!!!  I was so excited 
to see them, they said the pplace is sold out but there are a few places left 
at the RV park across the street.  We jumped in our trucks, I waved Don 
on..... we headed for the exit..... Conrad and Tricia made it out fine.... I 
had to wiggle between a tree and a motorhome..... 

I didn't quite make it.   <sigh>  

The side of the trailer hit the tree right where the kitchen window *used* to 
be.  Oddly, it also took out the center awning support, but the two side 
supports are fine.

It only hit in the space between the awning arms... but it hit good.

I have uploaded two pictures.  Oddly, while I was sniffling (ok I was almost 
bawling) my phone rang.... it was the Foremost guy wanted to talk about last 
week's claim.... when I put her into a ditch.  Any takers on a bet that they 
dump me after they pay me for the hail damage, the wheel well damage, the 
under damage from the ditch and now this? 

Don and Conrad and Tricia are being really nice to me.... I feel like a 
complete idiot.

I called my new best friend, Charlie Burke, I call him every week now to get 
info on who should fix what...... I suspect I will just take it to Tennessee 
and have the work all done there.

There are window repair guys outside as I type putting a temporary plexiglass 
window in to get me to Tennessee......

The good news is, no one was hurt... except for Mr. Shiny of course )c:
