Hi Hunter,

This afternoon (Saturday 10/07/00), the freezing rain finally melted off the roof and step of our
Airstream. It was good talking with you this morning on our cell phones. I wish the weather had been
more conducive getting together. I'm still chicken to tow when there's freezing rain. 

Today's rain is like having a snow day when we were kids = whooppee, stay home, watch videos, veg
out. What did we do, we looked up ghost towns on our New Mexico map, we searched files for courtesy
parking invitations south of here, we visited with local indians at the CG office/store, we checked
altitudes for the least chance of snow tomorrow, etc., etc. How times change and yet, don't change.

If there's no freezing rain later tonight, tomorrow we'll roll directly south toward the SKP park in
Deming, NM. And you? You're trucking east toward Lubbock, TX for cosmetic surgery on your Airstream.
One of these days, both of us will be in the same place at the same time and the weather will
cooperate.
