Hi Gang,

As I was setting up the tv when we arrived here in Gallup, NM I realized that 
today is October 1st.......

This marks exactly one year since I moved into the trailer.

One yaer ago I said good bye to my beautiful farm in South Carolina and set 
out on the adventure of a lifetime.  

Why did I do it?  I did it because my long time best friend died at the age 
of 48...of cancer.  That made me realize that you shouldn't put off your 
dreams til "someday". 

When I got divorced and sold the farm... someday was now.

Was it all I had hoped?  

Yes, that and much more.  It's been a wondrous, magical year... I have 
memories I wouldn't trade for anything.  I have seen old friends and made 
many new ones...

Today, here at the KOA in Gallup, a couple pulled in with an Argosy trailer.  
I grabbed the dogs and sidled over for a closer look..... soon we were 
sharing a beer.... an hour later I was making dinner and we spent a glorious 
evening together.  I now have a place to stay in St Louis next time I go 
through.... like I said, I've made many new friends.

Why am I babbling?  Partially because of the wine that flowed at dinner, and 
because I want you all to follow my lead if you are so inclined.  This 
odyssey has been a blast... I have seen so many amazing things here in the 
United States.... national parks, baby moose, wildlife, eagles, bears.... 
mountians, vistas...... this has to be the most beautiful place on earth.....

I want you all to get in your tow vehicles and pull those trailers and see 
all the stuff I've seen in the past year.. I want you to meet all te other 
wonderful people who are RVing.... 

Don't put it off too long..... the quicker you do this, the longer you can do 
it. (c:
