Back then, almost all Airstreams were towed by the fullsized cars of the day. Look for a 1968 anything you think is cool... just a big car with a big V8 is all you need. I think the only difference bewteen now and then is highway speeds.... if you plan to be on superhighways going 70 mph you might want a new truck..... If you want a diesel..... Ford, Dodge and soon Chevy all have great diesels.... Hunter
