 Thanks for the story!

I test-drove my 'new' Dodge on Monday and found the noise somewhat
annoying at best. Mind you, I've owned all sorts of Diesel equipment,
including a half-dozen VWs, a trencher with a 3208 Caterpillar (LOUD!!),
and even my lawn tractor. But: the noise was still annoying.

Tomorrow, we drive to Kentucky to take delivery, and I'll drive 'er
home, about 250 miles. I sure hope you're right about getting used to
it. :-)

I think we'll like the truck otherwise, especially after I spend another
grand or so getting an exhaust brake, torque converter lockup kit, and a
bank of guages. (boost, TIT, and trans temp) I'm sure that we'll like
the fuel mileage, even though my present Dodge isn't all that bad.
