Sandy, As I understand, the objection is not the transmission, but rather, engine damage. Apparently, both Ford and Navistar (engine manufacturer) are concerned that the exhaust brakes will generate too much backpressure, which the hydraulic valves are not equipped to handle. -Tom mailto:tom@tompatterson.com Website: http://www.tompatterson.com
