[A/S] cast tail light housing removal

My 1966 Overlander tail lights are loose, most of the rivets are broken. I 
need to calk the seam between the housing and the body and re-attach.
The housing (8" X 14") are riveted on from the inside, so I can't get to the 
rivets to get the heads off and I don't want to remove the inner walls and 
shower.
Anyone been through this before?
