Since exhaust brakes on big trucks are NOISY, some towns and cities have
ordinances banning their use in town. Generally they post a little sign
saying so. Big trucks use a "Jake" brake, I think from the Jacob
company. I saw a web page or two about them and how they worked last
year. Since all my engines are spark ignition I didn't see a direct
benefit to me and ignored them further.
