Re: [A/S] Exhaust brakes
I hope there will be no need for a claim because of my exhaust brake. Less
strain on the brakes and the transmission.... I think.
I love mine, the other day as I was rolling down a mountain I hit the exhaust
brake switch...it slowed me down, but a big curve was up ahead.... so I
popped off the overdrive... that slowed me down enough to take the curve
safely... no foot brakes were used at all... I noticed the cars ahead of me
were all hitting their brakes.
Of all the toys I've added, the BD exhaust brake has to be the most
important... I would not want to have done all the steep winding mountain
roads without it. I had my truck brakes and my trailer brakes checked
recently... both are in great shape.
