[A/S] 3 cheers

hi, 3 cheers to whoever is responsible for this great service. I
started working on my '61 Overlander this week, and the members here
have been a great help. So far I've checked my wiring(no aluminum)
checked for leaks(none)wished I had stabilizer jacks to fix, cleaned
my original a/c(only cools to 85 in our recent record breaking 112
degree Austin heat)and tried frying a steak on the roof(I prefer
lemon butter over the Pam as suggested. I've had fun restoring the
finish on the walnut plywood cabinets, and even discovered that
Formby's refinisher will remove stains in the vinyl/asbestos floor
tiles.(I spilled some, I know, I know I should have put more paper
down.) Now a few questions for the experts here. (Remember I've never
owned anything remotely like a trailer or rv, the closest thing to
camping I've ever done is spending the night in my treehouse 38 yrs
ago.) 1. My sewer dump drains all the time, the stem for the valve
doesn't push or pull as the orig info suggests. It will turn but no
reaction to the drain. My owner's info mentions a 'frying pan' valve
cover but I don't have one. Probably just a cap anyway. #2 No hot
water to rear bath area. Havent' broken the fittings yet to see if
thee is a plug or what. Is there some trick to bleeding off the air
while the hot water heater fills? #3. I'll quit here while I'm ahead,
the shower curtain is missing. Just a few odd pieces of it left, it
hung in a groove with no rings. Is there a replacement available?
Thanks guys(and gals) for your help. Mike
