I am as new to this as I can be. That is, new to
trailers generally and Airtreams specifically. I am starting to shop for
an older airstream that will accomodate me, my wife, and our four young
children. As an uninformed observer, I like the 31 foot trailers from the
1970's. I think I need a trailer of that size for my family, and the
prices from that era are appealing.
I have been reading this list and the archives for a week or
so, and I have learned a great deal about frame seperation, gray water tanks,
and other subjects that I previously knew nothing about. My questions
are these: Are there years that are better than others from this
era? Are trailers from the Beatrice years to be avoided? Are
there model years that I should stay away from? Are there some years and
models that might be considered "lemons"?
