My consumption is already very modest.  I have no illusions about complete 
independence from the grid.  That's why I will pay to stay connected.  But 
I will have a meter telling me month by month how my system is doing.

When I go on the road the car generator will take the place of the meter, 
once I get to the low enough level.

I expect to spend less than $2000 for my system.
