[a/s] Climbing on the roof?
Greetings from Alaska-
I have been "lurking" around your conversations off and on for the last
year as they are fascinating and helpful to us as new Airstream owners.
Our 1983 Sovereign is 31 ft long and parked on a lot on the Kenai River
in Kenai, Alaska. We use it as a base for our King Salmon fishing guide
service. We are still at the stage of learning about the trailer and
cleaning it. We are not ready for the towing part yet.
We live in one of the most beautiful spots in Alaska, in Homer. If
anyone needs to know some details of traveling and sightseeing on the
Kenai Peninsula of Alaska we'll see if we can help. We have had several
Airstream caravans park here in Homer over the 24 years we have lived
here.
I am trying to absorb all the myriad ways to polish the trailer that you
folks post. However one major question.... Can we climb around on top
of the 31' trailer to clean and polish it? How much weight can it
bear? Even with a 7 ft ladder my arms are not long enough!
Talk to you later - Norma
