[a/s] Poor Water pressure

In fact, I think that you will find that the poor water pressure does not
result from the 1/2" pipe. Most houses have 1/2" pipe. In the shower, the
low pressure results from a restriction built into the handle of the shower
head. Remove the head, and drill the opening out to a larger size. In the
kitchen, I think that you will find that the poor pressure results from a
"flow-back" protection restrictor on the inlet lines. If you remove the
water lines from the Moen, you will find a small rubber nipple designed to
prevent the water from draining out of the tap when the pressure is off.
Remove the nipple, and you will have pressure. However, you may also
inadvertently get a shower when you first turn on the water after traveling
with no pressure on the system.
I think that these two tips will solve the water pressure woes.
