consumption.  Can use a smaller, lighter, higher-revving and more highly
stressed European style (or Japanese style) engine.

Before the general availability of computer design and computer-controlled
robotic manufacturing processes, unibodies were tricky and expensive to
fabricate, found in military aircraft and racing cars ... when the latter
weren't built on a space frame, remember the Maserati GP cars?
