Have you heard about the description of a boat?  "A hole on the water where
you pour money."  Fortunately, that description DOES NOT apply to
Airstreams.  Although it may take a lot of hard work, the value remains, or
is enhanced.  I hope you will try to do the necessary renovations on your
unit.  It will become a part of your family.  Good luck.
