This subject came up extensively on the vintage list last year.
I have since asked several LP gas attendants in Oregon and California about
the new valve requirements.  None new a thing.  All filled up my aluminum
tanks with stock valves.  Old saying: "If it ain't broke . . . don't fix it
:)

I'm just going to wait until status changes.
