Two things come to mind.
1. A not too common problem that crops up with that generation refer
is the foam insulation will continue to or start once again to swell making
the door(s) hard to close. Usually the binding is on the sides or top.
2. The spacers and shims have worn and the hinge pins can move in the
hinge plates. While the originals are metric you can find plain flat washer
that will work.
