The best tow vehicle I ever had was a '72 Travelall about 15 years ago when
I was towing a 7000lbs. SOB.  It looked like brand new, had the metallic
astro blue paint job with the wood trim and had a black vinyle roof.  for a
heavy duty vehicle it was a real head turner.   It was rated to tow
10,000lbs. but rode like a Lincoln, had front torshion bar suspension and
had such a short turning radius I could park it on a dime unlike my '80
Chevy 3/4 ton p-up.  Plus it had dual gas tanks.  I miss it dearly, and if
I'm now starting to sound like a whiner, I would still have it if it and my
parent's '63 Bambi hadn't perished when our house burnt down..  In my
oppinion it was much superior to a Suburban.  Wish I still had it. Wish
Internationall Harvester had put more of a marketing plan to keep it alive,
If I had the money now I would buy one.
