Peter,

I was in Walmart the other day and saw two handheld 40 channel CBs in a
box for what seemed like a really low price like $85 or so. This is as
cheap as the FRS and would probably have better range and usefulness.
They were on a Father's Day display near the automotive and RV area.
Maybe Walmart has similar up there in ME.
