[a/s] New OPD valves in "lay-down" propane tanks?

I have wondered about this myself - there are probably few lay-downs in
comparison to stand-ups, so the neighborhood LP service people may not
stock the pieces required to convert the lay-downs. Since this is still a
bit in the future for me, I can put off worrying about it for awhile. 

Anybody had their lay-downs converted yet?

Canada requires the new valves after 10 years, not 12 as in the USA, so the
problem occurs sooner up there. We will be heading to Alaska in 2001, which
will be marginal for me, but I can just fill the tanks before crossing the
border and I should be OK.
