As I said in my recent email...the previous owner had mine extended too far.  
It caused great stress on the inner tube, to be put on the outer tube when 
hydraulically extended and then putting the whole weight of the front of the 
A/S on it.  I realized that these are made to come out part-way, and then be 
rested on something high (like a block of wood).  
My solution is that the other day, I saw a jack under a hitch with the little 
'plate' resting on the ground....just like the leveling jacks.  Anyone else 
seen that?  Problems using them for travelling..?  Maybe just for long 
parkings.?
