Hi Gang,

Speaking of new toys... I got me one (c:  My birthday is fast approaching and 
one of my best friends asked what I wanted...... so my new GPS will arrive 
today.  Just in time as I'm about to embark on my excellent adventure out 
west.

Now, I can't quite figure out where to put the laptop while I'm driving.  I 
need to be able to see the screen right?  It can't go on the dash, can't go 
on the seat next to me.  I have a co-pilot, but he refuses to hold it for me. 
He says he's a dog. 

I have seen a Jotto desk which is an arm and a platform.  Looks like it 
woulkd be in the way, not sure where I would actually attach it, and how... 
anyone have one of these things?  I have a Ford Super Duty pick up.

Then there's the 12v thingy I need to power the laptop.  Sheesh.... that is 
over $100.00.  I wonder if I should just use my inverter.  I didn't want to 
do that, but I suppose it would be fine.  It shouldn't hurt my computer right?
