Hi folks,
Check the thickness of your
table, when I first deployed mine and extended the extension, I thought
"How the heck does this work", then I looked in my owners manual and
there it was! There is a small U-shaped piece of metal on the front(bow?) side
of the table.This joins the two halves together. Withdraw the clip until the
part connected to the top is free, swivel that down, unfold the top on the
extension. Voila!! Dinner for 6 or 8.
If that doesn't work, or your
table is only one thickness, then the plastic hinge failed somewhere down the
road and the prior owners pitched it
out
