	I'm thinking this is where the stereo was originaly (OEM was an 8 track
player- woo-hoo). Speaker wires should be there- I think the front speakers
should be behind the drapes on either side- not sure about rear speakers.

	When I replaced the stereo in our '75, I did hook up to the original
speakers, but I wound up mostly using a small pair of Radio Shack Minimus
7's (small, good sound).

	With a model number, I should be able to e-mail an owners manual in Adobe
acrobat form.

	There are cross ribs under there that provide for better mounting- I just
doubled up on the clamps, and used pop rivets.

	Because of the large number of miles we traveled, I finally just got some
1/8" x 3/4 " aluminum strips, and ran them along the edges of the under
belly (right along the frame line). I used pop rivets for these, also.
Another solution that I have used are "large head" pop rivets.
