Re: [a/s] Trip Planning Software (was Top-of-Ga to I-75)
I guess that you get what you pay for. One problem with free web based maps
and routings is the following.
I found that no matter how carefully I planned an extensive trip,
information learned along the way usually causes me to change my routes. If
you are dependent on web based routing you are also dependent on accessing
the web. That may not always be possible.
However, if you have the software used to make the original routing it is
easy to change. At least I have found Map'N'Go easy to change; I've done
it many times. At the risk of being too repetitious, remember that Map'N'Go
also as a rather large listing of RV parks and campgrounds. Just look for
the little green tents on the map. The little brown picnic tables represent
rest stops. Other programs may have this feature as well, but as I noted in
a previous message I am not well versed in other programs.
