Actually, I'm on low voltage right now..... plugged into house current and 
have the heater plugged in and use the mcrowave just fine.  I never run my 
a/c on low voltage...so it's a moot point for me.

The electric hot water heater actually uses very little electricity.... the 
one I have does anyway. It's called a Hot Shot...or Lightning rod....can't 
remember which.
